BAND OF OUTSIDERS SPERRY TOPSIDERS AO Tri-Color Boat Shoes AW11

These were the first Tri-color Sperry's from the BOO Sperry collaboration and they were done perfectly with that light green, crown blue and off white color combination. I finally ordered them and am patiently waiting for their arrival! Available now @ SperryTopsider.com for $175. They were a Fall/Winter 2011 release but look more of a summer shoe but that is what Band is known for taking fall colors and putting it in their spring collection and vice versa. They like to mix up our perception of colors and I dig it.

BAND OF OUTSIDERS GREY WINDOWPANE SPORTCOAT AW10

I just picked up this Grey Windowpane Sportcoat by Band of Outsiders Fall/Winter 2010 Collection. It looks supercool with it's vintage white plastic buttons and I can't wait for it to come in tomorrow. Comedian Aziz Ansari wore it on Paper Magazine's front cover.

MY DAD'S VINTAGE POLO

This is a terrible 80's photo of my family but my dad has the coolest vintage polo on! Please disregard my sister, mom and my Jew 'fro (but it is a part of the 80's era to prove it's authenticity)! Also disregard the fallace shaped balloons in the background (kind of weird for a kid's party). This was very embarrassing for me to post because of the ridiculous hairdo's but the polo was really that good.

WILD WILD WEST!

This pic here reminds me of the latest Fall/Winter 2012 Band Collection with it's Wild West influence. The colors of the sky are so amazing! Our world is a beautiful place so don't take it for granted. Get outside more often and explore it at it's natural state rather than hanging out on Fifth Avenue or Soho wasting your money away!

BAND OF OUTSIDERS Olive Anorak Parka SS11

I just recently picked up this very cool light olive Band Of Outsiders Anorak Parka to help fight off all this rain that has hit the Northeast this month and it is a very special piece! Although I do wish that it had side pockets instead of the top pockets seen in pic 3 but it is a wonderfully crafted jacket made in Italy in a brushed cotton, it almost feels suede. It is still available @ Yoox.com for $325 in size 40. The show presentation of this jacket (shown right above) didn't do any justice to showing how great looking this jacket really is.

No one can pull off cool more than this guy here Marvin Gaye and this is one of those images of him that are stuck in my mental catalogue when I think of inspirational images of looking cool! Chambray blue shirt with an olive undershirt and a red watch cap nothing short of amazing effortless cool.

OKI-NI.com interviews Scott Sternberg

These interviews are staring to sound real redundant with the same questions over and over again! Scott Sternberg is an extremely interesting designer and his choice of words are unlike any other but these interviewers need to do some more research before these interviews. They ask the same questions that I already heard the answers to from the last 3 interviews i.e. what movies or movie characters influence him or his collections blah, blah, blah! BUT... I do like the illustrations the most and the thought behind them so that is a plus to this article. Click on images for a better view.

BAND OF OUTSIDERS Patchwork Madras Blazer

EBay just recently had this great-looking Band Patchwork Madras Blazer and man did it go quick for less than $200. I was planning on bidding for it and it was my lost. I really like the navy grosgrain trim on it that adds a very handsome flare to it!
