Just got this bad boy in time for Christmas all the way from the UK! It is a B.O.O Camel Coat that was sold at Barneys last year for $2290. I found it on Ebay of course because it isn't available anywhere else. I'm not sure if it is made of camel hair or cashmere because it feels like cashmere and I brought it to my tailor and he told me cashmere. Whatever it is all I know that this is the best coat that I've ever owned quality-wise and I have an extensive coat collection from the best of the best including Burberry. This is why I can't say no to B.O.O!!!
Here is a little sneak peak into what is in store for the new Spring 2013 Collection and I likes! I just hope that B.O.O gets there online store up and running again with exclusive pieces that other stores don't carry. I also hope that there is a plan for new footwear as well. Hopefully made in the US or Italy like their clothing. I want that Polo and shorts so I can rock them together!
I am sad to say that the Band of Outsiders Sperry Topsider collaboration is officially discontinued after 5 seasons. I got the official word from Sperry Topsider themselves but if you haven't noticed there wasn't any Fall/Winter releases recently so treasure the ones that you do have. Hopefully BOO has something up their sleeves for next season I guess we have to wait for February to find out (@ NYFW)!
This new Band Printed Nylon Vest is worth checking out with it's Prince of Wales design in grey with navy blue zipper, elastic collar and waist band. Available now @ ContextClothing.com and thecorner.com for $660.
This summer I have been obsessing over this Ming green color that is in so many pieces of the BOO S/S 2012 Collection! I own every single piece that they make containing this color. Ming green is a very aqua-ish color that I am so attracted to. I am super obsessed with green lately and this color is just one of those shades that I must have. I've included images that reminded me of the color from Ben Stiller's fake undercover character from the Starsky and Hutch movie from a few years back known for his "Do it, Do it!" phrase. Those M&M's are new mint flavored and the color of the bag is definitely ming green. That Boba Fett Lego clock is one of my birthday presents from my girlfriend that has a cool mix of greens, blues, maroon, grey and black. The beautiful picture of the Cinque area in Italy has some houses with ming green shutters. Last but not least is Kermit the frog in a BOO Varsity Jacket in Ming green with the Ming green Sperry's pictured in pic 1.
Band makes these special limited pieces for the Opening Ceremony Olympic Pop-Up Shop in London! I ordered the tank top in pic 1 even though I already own it without the logo but I had to do it! Available now @ OpeningCeremony.us for $85.
So the Longest Show Ever concluded this past Friday and these were my favorite looks out of 25! Of course they are the most wearable looks because lets face it who really wants to look like a peacocking clown not me. Take it from me these are definitely the best looks. Picture 3 look 2 from above is my favorite in a cool grey windowpane suit with denim henley and navy penny's will definitely get you some. I also like the grey pullover with matching pants both in a suit pants material.
